Nicole has extensive experience working with substance use disorders, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and complex trauma. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. 

 

Nicole spent several years working in leadership roles at a managed care setting until she decided to pursue full-time clinical work. She is well-known for her work with opioid use disorders and assisting with the development of an Opioid Safety Clinic where she helped clients taper off opioids successfully. She was also the Mental Health Director at a Medication Assisted Treatment Center that provided Suboxone and methadone to clients wanting help with an opioid use disorder. Most recently Nicole has focused her work on neurological conditions such as tinnitus, misophonia, hyperacusis, and Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome (TTTS) at her private practice in Minnesota. 

 

Nicole uses a variety of modalities to guide clients throughout their journey such as Eyemovement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Havening, Solution-Focused Brief Interventions, Family Systems, and Attachment-based treatment.
